Become a Lightbox Studio Sustainer!
Three years ago I began to form what is now Lightbox Studio. Initially called Catamount Theatre, the organization was simply created to put a name on our theatrical productions. The organization has since become an important institutiona trusted contributor to the community, a destination for visiting artists to development, and a center for new artistic visions.
Although the name has changed, the mission has remained the same: a dedication to examine work honestly and simply, using a form most suitable to a particular aesthetic, text or action. Lightbox Studio's approaches remain dynamic, as the company responds to new artistic, social, and aesthetic needs.
In Lightbox Studio's three-year existence, it has been afforded the luxury of pursuing this mission without restrictions, and with great success. But as the number of artistic voices has increased, as the scope of projects has expanded, so has the cost of running the organization. It is now clear that Lightbox Studio must raise more funds in order to sustain the mission, and keep the diversity that accompanies healthy growth.
We need your support to continue our mission. As a pioneering Lightbox Studio Sustainer, your tax-deductible donation will help insure that projects like Taps, Someone Who'll Watch Over Me and The Exception and the Rule come to light. I hope you'll take the time to include us in your thoughtsit means a great deal to Lightbox Studio and the artists we support. Help keep the arts alive and kicking!
